I moved from Palo Alto to San Francisco recently. I took my Linux server offline on April 1, 2007, and through an amusing and jacked-up combination of events, it's taken me, and three different DSL engineers at AT&T, this long to get my service back to where it was at my last spot; I'm going to blog about that soon, because it's full of a lot of potentially shady garbage on the part of the service provider, including false advertising and other broken promises and incompetencies. If anything, I should put it out there for once and future prospective customers to consider while doing their due diligence. But the main thing is that I'm back online after nearly 60 straight days of being offline. Usually, when I go offline for a while, say more than a couple of weeks, it's to chill and take a break. To get my sexy back. But this time, there was so much I wanted to blog about, especially in the worlds of sports and entertainment, but I couldn't because my machine was wrapped up like some junk in a box, and no ISP could deliver what I wanted and needed at a decent value. So I stayed offline and on hiatus. I missed it. I missed you. I am back.
