(Two years ago, when Cali was enduring those rolling blackouts I suggested to some friends that there's got to be some connection between energy companies like Enron, the Bush administration, and the energy price hikes we had to absorb. Now gas and oil prices are going through the roof, and somehow Dubya's crew -- focused more on a war they're instigating abroad than the rotting economy at home -- is right in the middle of it all.
