I launched [caught In between] exactly three years ago, as a way to teach myself new web programming skills that I could use on my day job. Every year, there are new things to learn, and not enough time to do it. So I turned one of my many, many hobbies -- web surfing -- into a little more. The funny thing is most of the stuff I've learned is behind the scenes of this space. But that's cool.

While I've had my ups and downs with the whole blogging life, I'm still focused on really just the first goal: using it as a learning space. No plans for world domination here. No hopes that thousands of people will visit this space each day. It's just a public place where I jot notes to myself. That's why I call this a noteblog. When I'm old and gray, I'll be able to look back at where my head was at at any point in time. So I will be posting for a long time to come.

But right about now, I'm taking a short Holiday Break, and will be back in about 10 days for my annual year-end wrap.
