I do notice one thing now, as a result of this sudden malady: websites designed with black text on white backgrounds are exceedingly hard on these (relatively young) eyes. I know most people use the black-on-white look because it's the closest thing to ink on paper, but maybe that's not such a bright idea. A computer screen isn't paper, Sherlock. Do us all a favor, you black-on-whites, find some softer tones for your site background. Think about it: a white background plus a computer screen: you might as well stare directly into a lightbulb.
