I do have a premise and I think it's pretty cool. With two hours of commute time on CalTrain every damn day this week, I've got plenty of time to work out the structure quickly without going psycho.

I did it. I voted. This entitles me to a loud-mouthed opinion on all things political, and politically-motivated, or in other words: just about everything. Shut up for a second, OK! See ... I voted. Those are the rules.
But while voting is important, it is not all-powerful. For instance, voting does not make me a pundit. You won't find any of that cr*p here. All of the time. But if you were eligible and didn't make your best effort to get out and vote I really don't care what you think politically. You forfeited that talking point.

Knicks fall short in front of non-sellout MSG crowd. ESPN.com - The Knicks are off to an 0-4 start, their worst in 15 years, and plenty of seats are available for anyone wishing to witness the ugliness.
(It's hard to believe that the NBA season is already here. And even harder to believe that after just one week the Knicks are already falling out of the race in the NBA East.)

Card fraudsters prey on high class diners. Guardian Unlimited - An unscrupulous restaurant waiter processes a transaction but then, out of sight of the customers, separately records the card's data on tiny devices that can be fitted on to a trouser belt. He or she then sells the data to criminal gangs who use it to mass produce counterfeit credit and debit cards.
(Live by the technology sword, die by it. And another reason to limit the number of credit cards you have. )
