The AIDS virus is surging like a prairie fire through black communities in the United States. The epidemic is not getting anything like the attention it deserves. According to the Centers for Disease Control, one in every 50 black American men is infected with HIV. That is an astonishing statistic.

A man who died about 60,000 years ago in Australia could force a rethink of our theory of human origins. Researchers in Australia have accomplished the extremely difficult feat of extracting DNA from his skeleton and were astonished to find the sequence is unique, matching nothing seen before.

Buying Power of Black America

According to an E-mail newsletter published by MarketSegment.com, at $570 billion in purchasing power, African American consumers would be the fourth largest economy in the world, trailing the US ($2.3 trillion), Japan ($1 trillion), and Germany ($600 billion). All that buying power, and a brutha still can't buy a vote in Florida, or hail a cab in New York. BoyCaught thought they said the only color that mattered was green in Amerikkka. Guess not.

Fox Boots Tempation Isle Parents

In what marks yet another casting snafu for the folks at Fox, the network has acknowledged it kicked off one of the couples starring in its controversial new lust-a-thon, Temptation Island, because they lied to the network and production company about having a kid. By the way, what a stupid idea for a show. Speaking as a man, BoyCaught knows that if you wave enough p**sy in a straight guy's face, eventually he'll break. He will break. Love's got nothing to do with that. Do we need to prove this age-old scientific fact in prime time? Do we need to tempt fate?
