Celebrity bigots (Metro Times Detroit)
"Sex may sell, but in today's jaded climate, it's far more profitable to combine balling and bigotry ... your boss may be a woman, your sergeant African-American, your teacher gay, but when you put the earphones on, you rule. So why not think of celebrity bigots as lubricators of social change?." Well it's probably not worth doing unless there's a profit motive, right? But lubrication has many uses.
