Kramer's
Racist Tirade(TMZ.com)
-
The crowd is visibly and audibly confused and upset. Richards responds by saying, "They're going to arrest me for calling a black man a n*****."The ironic thing here is that Richards, who's career seems stalled, is trying to distance himself from the Kramer character he invented on the megahit sitcom Seinfeld in the 90s. And yet, the only reason why his outburst is getting any play in the media is because he played Kramer on TV. Well, I think he succeeded with this epithet-laden tirade: he's light-years from Kramer now, giddy-up! But he's created new career problems in the process. (watch the clip). I know these guys are actors, and you have no idea who these people really are, but I'll never be able to look at Kramer the same way again. Of course, this being America, all of this is actually quite shocking. I mean, a white guy who hates Black people? Here? Inconceivable.
